Eland is located in the northern most corner of the world famous Limpopo; the area is sparsely populated. The Limpopo is known as the best hunting in South Africa to many. 

O.R. Thambo International Airport in Johannesburg is where you will be met by Eland Safaris.  The drive to the camp takes approximately five hours. Done in the daylight, you will see a beautiful countryside and an interesting culture.

Accommodations are well appointed and include thatched chalets, each with its own heating and air conditioning.  Each chalet is quite comfortable and includes hot and cold running water, en-suite toilet and showers, 220v power and a gun/valuables safe.  The  commons Jacuzzi can be a welcome treat at the end of the day. If you wish, a Best Traveling Spa can also be arranged. You will be well fed with superbly prepared traditional African fare and enjoy local beer and wines, and if you wish, at the end of day a 'Sundowner' around the fire pit. Our clients are spoiled with the full attention to their every need by our well trained and courteous staff.

On the property and nearby you can enjoy baboon, blue wildebeest, bushbuck (Limpopo), bushpig, duiker, eland, giraffe, impala, jackal, klipspringer, nyala, sable, southern greater kudu, warthog, waterbuck and zebra.  The big five hunts are available, please ask. Gun or bow hunting is welcomed. Spot and stalk as well as blind hunting is the norm.  Your Professional Hunters are experienced and focused on the providing a world class hunt.  Seasons are opposite of North America; you might expect a May through August hunt to be cool mornings and warm afternoons. A trip to Kruger National Park from Eland is a superb addition to your adventrure.
